"I recorded my mom talking about the family history on cassette tapes back in 1990. These were very precious to me and I wanted to share them with my brother and sister, but cassettes are so outdated and I had no way to copy them to CD. "Bernie Swenson's firm, Grand Memory Lane, put over 800 35 mm slides of mine on two DVDs and a CD. These slides were from the years 1952 to 1974 that were in storage and not being looked at. He did a wonderful job, using the captions that I provided for each picture. The two DVDs provided me with over two hours of entertainment, looking at slides that I had not looked at for 50 years. All this was done at a most reasonable price. Since many of the slides were of family, they are enjoying them also. Mr. Swenson also provided me with two binders—one with all the original slides in protective clear envelopes and the other with thumbnail prints of each slide, also in protective clear envelopes.
Anyone needing their memories put into a permanent format, I would highly recommend Grand Memory Lane and Mr. Swenson."
