Grand Memory Lane Studios’ unique service begins with a free consultation. We will meet with you in the comfort of your own home and help you create a package to suit your budget and your needs. Once a plan has been approved, your photographic, audio and video materials will be carefully scanned and processed at our local studio and recorded and preserved on permanent archival quality CD-R and/or DVD-R. Attractive, quality photo books and slideshows can also be included. Every package is personally prepared uniquely for you.
Grand Memory Lane Studios offers the following services:
- Print scanning (up to 12” x 17”)
- 35mm slide scanning
- 35mm, 120/220, and 2¼” or Brownie negative scanning
- 59mm x 82mm electron microscope film scanning
We can scan slides to CD, scan prints to CD, and scan negatives to CD. Scanning packages include labor (one-hour minimum), 3-ring binder(s), contact page(s) with thumbnail prints, archival preserver(s), inventory page(s), and 1 set of CD-R(s) or DVD-R(s) containing scanned media. We can transfer cassettes to CD and LP to CD. Cassette recordings encoded with Dolby® B or C noise reduction is acceptable. Reel-to-reel audio tapes must be recorded at 3 3/4 or 7 1/2 ips. The price for LP conversions includes sound restoration and album cover scanning and printing. Copies of your recordings are made and transferred to high quality silver CD-R and DVD-R. Grand Memory Lane Studios, LLC does not engage in audio/video piracy and therefore insists that all of the following guidelines for these services are satisfied:
1. The recording we remaster for you must be from your own personal collection.
2. The recording must be currently out of print.
3. Only one CD or DVD copy will be made.
4. This CD or DVD copy is only for your private listening and viewing.
5. You agree not to resell, broadcast, or duplicate this CD or DVD copy.
6. Multiple copies may be ordered but only if you are the original artist and own the copyright.
- Slideshows
This includes transitions and title page. Music supplied by the customer is included at no additional cost. Slideshows are PC compatible only. Click here for pricing information.
- Photo books
These are bookstore quality books printed on 80# coated semi-matte paper, and are available in soft cover and hardcover. Hardcovers have a black-linen hardcover with durable library binding. Other features include custom 4-color dust jacket with protective laminate coating and commercial-quality 4-color printing.
